The platform is located in the Wigry National Park on the “Suchary” Educational Trail and the Green Route. The view stretches over a mid-forest lake commonly known as Suchar IV which features high level of naturalness. There are the remains of an abandoned beaver’s lodge on the opposite shore of the lake. The Suchar IV is frequently visited by waterfowl, such as the mallard, common goldeneye, common merganser. The surrounding marsh coniferous forest complex is well developed and features a rather thin stand of pines and numerous occurrences of the protected species of marsh Labrador tea and of the bog bilberry.
