- Od 26 kwietnia do 28 września 2014 r. wstęp na część drewnianą jest płatny.

The most eye-catching and the longest pier in Poland is also a favourite venue for entertaining events.

The first pier on this spot, with a length of 41m, was built in 1829 but then extended in stages until in 1910 it was 315m long. Initially it was used for mooring but with time was transformed into a very popular attraction. The present shape of the pier was achieved in 1927 and at 512m is the longest wooden pier in Europe. This showcase of Sopot is made up of two parts, the wooden walking jetty and, on land, a 20,000m² paved area.

The following is located on land (on Spa Square): a beautiful historic fountain, a lighthouse with an observation deck, a music auditorium, food outlets and lots of greenery. Huge events, concerts and sporting displays are organised here, and in the winter season there is also an ice rink. Throughout the year the “Amber Café” and the “Lagoon of Tastes” restaurant are open on the pier.

The wooden section (the walking jetty) includes, apart from the main deck, the lower decks and the side deck, which enable the mooring of passenger ships and yachts. In mid 2011 the pier head will be used to moor over 100 yachts.
