Church of the Feast of the Cross - the most magnificent baroque building in Brzeg, raised in 1734-1745 according to project of J. Frisch in place of monastery's complex of Dominicans from 1545. The interior is covered with barrel vault. The polychromy is painted between 1739-1746 by a Jesuit jan Kuben (1697-1770), belongs to the most prominent realisations of illusory painting in Silesia. On the vault above presbytery, Kuben painted pre-figure of Christ's Crucification - Enthronement of Copper Snake, above a nave - Adorationof the Holy Cross. They are completed by frescs above emporia presenting the history of the tree of the Holy Cross and frescs in chapels presenting saints specially cultivating the Cross. Ilusory fresc on the wall of presbytery presents a historical moment of lifting up the Cross by emperor Heraclius and patriarch of Jerusalem Zechariah in a temple in Jerusalem. The upper finials of towers with helmets and the main elevation were built in 1856 according to an architect Wiczek from Wrocław. In front of the church there are two stone figures of St.Thaddeus and St. Nepomuk.
