According to the historical tradition the mail station so-called "posthalternia" was located there - its traditions come from the beggining of the XVIIIth century.
At numbers Rabiańska 1 and 3 street there are two small baroque granary. The source tells that the city council paid a permanent messenger for the postal services. The Torun mail station was integrated to the royal network of the mail services.
The most famous person of Torun mail services was Jakub Kazimierz Rubinkowski - the burgrave exercising his duties in the XVIIIth century.
At present in this tenement house there is the "Philatelist's House" at number 1, and before the entrance there is the Rubinkowski's Head Sculpture. However the two joined baroque granaries at number 3 present the baroque style and belong to the smaller ones in Torun.
