The City Park in Zamosc is unique in the scale of whole Poland.
It is a leading modernist idea of “green areas” in Poland. It was established on the post-fortress area in 1919-1926, according to the contest winning plan prepared by Walerian Kronenberg. The park have the area of 11.2 hectares and it covers the bastion IV, embankment of ravelin, contrgard, cavalier and a moat. It has some geometrical arrangement of the axes associated with the city. The main elements of the system are two crossed so-called ground floors.
