The biggest granary in Torun has 7 floors. The window shape discloses the type of goods stored inside.
The granary comes from the first half of the XVIIth century, it was built at the place of the former gothic one and is directed by the top towards the street. It represents the baroque style, the facade with the many window opening ornamented by the bands reminding the bag of cereal. This granary is counted to the one of the biggest and the most interesting buildings of this type in Poland. Up till now it serves as the storehouse of the W.Horzyca's theatre dresses.
