Catholic Church of the Transfiguration in Jarosław was built in 1717-1747.
It is a major centre of pilgrimage for Polish Greek Catholics. The temple is famous for its miraculous icon of Our Lady of Jarosław, called the Gate of Mercy. In 1996, the legate of Pope John Paul II, A. Silvestrini crowned it with papal crowns. Temple was renovated in 1992-93.
