The fountain was built in 1700-1701. Its pattern was taken from the fountain of Bernini - "del Tritone Fountain" on Piazza del Tritone in Rome. It was made of Slovnian marble. It has small and big pool. In the middle of the fountain there are four dolphins directed towards the four cardinal directions, holding the seashell with Tryton. There is the date of origin of the fountain and the coat of arms of Nysa.
